Successful completion of the 3rd Preventive Maintenance rounds for the equipment deployed under the ORIO TB-project ‘Accelerating Case Detection of TB in Ghana’.

 

This year the preventive maintenance was done again by two teams of clinical engineers (Ghana Health Service) and Universal Delft biomedical engineers, one team addressing the project sites in the Northern sector of Ghana and one team doing so in the Southern sector.

 

53 X-ray systems and 17 Viewing Stations were serviced, including the 3 additionally acquired containerized X-ray systems by the NTP with Viewing Stations (2017 ending).

 

Generally, all equipment is in good order and after completing the Preventive Maintenance rounds, all X-ray systems and Viewing Stations were fully functional and working to the customers satisfaction.
